A Healthy Holiday Luncheon

The OLQA School and Parish Staff were treated to a special Christmas luncheon on behalf of the Orange County Diocese and PSA Hospitality Board.  While listening to beautiful Christmas songs being played on the OLQA grand piano, Carol Noya prepared the most wonderful lunch!  She demonstrated how to prepare a delicious holiday meal while incorporating healthy ingredients and offering a variety of options.  Tricia Davey, a personal chef,  assisted Carol in this scrumptious feast!

We are so grateful to the DiNapoli and Glessing families for the wonderful centerpieces they made for this luncheon.  We also would like to thank the Bartz, Fatholloki and O’Keefe moms for making the room look beautiful and festive for all the guests. Thank you also goes out to Dawn Cunningham for all the work she did on the booklets, recipe cards and beautiful Christmas menus! We are all so blessed at OLQA for all our Teachers, Staff and Parish Administration do to make our community so wonderful!!

We look forward to many more delicious luncheons as just one way of expressing our gratitude!  We will be reaching out to all our families to join us in a variety of ways at these luncheons.

Our school family celebrated the birth of our Savior at the annual OLQA School Christmas Program on Thursday, December 17th.  This beautiful concert presented by our students was heartwarming and memorable.  Each grade level from K through 8 and our School Cantor Ensemble performed a Christmas song in a lessons and carols format which included readings of the Christmas Story by 8th graders.

The concert began with everyone singing O Come, All Ye Faithful, accompanied by Dr. Patricia Lamb at the organ, and closed with the traditional verses of Angels We Have Heard on High.
