Highlighting each year’s Christmas celebrations are the two exciting programs held in December: the K-4th luncheon and the all-school evening program. We thank our music teachers, Mrs. Hoppe and Mrs. Sawyers, for bringing out the students’ most beautiful voices year after year.
This year’s K-4th luncheon, titled Hope Lights Our Way, was once again served by our 8th graders. PSA VP of Programs, Debbie Eldridge and Stephanie Lowe, set the stage where the sweet voices of our children remind us of the reason for the season. These are the memories that the families will treasure forever! Also as a tradition is the presentation of his/her framed art by the school directory cover art designer to Ms. Ryan. This year’s designer is Andrew Vogt.
The all-school evening program is an important tradition for OLQA families where we gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior. It is organized in a lessons-and-carols format, the kindergarten through 7th graders’ musical presentations are interspersed with 8th grade students reading scriptures that tell the Christmas story. The OLQA Centor Ensemble performed a special piece for this occasion.
