Halloween Celebration – October 31, 2011
As a Halloween tradition at Our Lady Queen of Angels, students arrive in the morning to see their school decorated with a festive Halloween spirit. Students were dressed in their costume of choice and ready for a fun-filled day. All classes enjoyed yummy treats and milk provided by the hard work of Mrs. Selva and Mrs. McGee, Room Mom Coordinators. A big thank you to them and all the Room Moms for keeping this tradition going!
The day continued with our Halloween parade through Carson Field where students were able to see the costumes that all the students were wearing as they marched on by per grade level. Coach K emceed the parade and announced the winners of the student-judged pumpkin and poem contests.
